Horror Night: your chat tells the scary stories
Lights out. A few random chatters tell a scary story in chat, part by part, while it appears on a candle-lit stage. Chat rates how scary each one was.
How to play
- A story prompt is picked (roll another if you like). Open entries; chat types !join.
- Draw the storytellers. Each must type something within 30 seconds to show they're here, or they're replaced automatically.
- One by one, each storyteller gets the stage: every message they send appears there in order, so the whole story builds up. Read it out loud for extra chills.
- Your buttons: ❌ CUT THE STORY ends it early, 🕯️ GOLDEN CANDLE sends them straight to the win, The end moves on to voting.
- After each story, chat rates it 1 to 10. When everyone has told theirs, the scariest storyteller wins.

Scoring
- Story score = chat's average (storytellers can't vote for themselves).
- Golden candle = automatic winner.
Tips
- Give storytellers 3 minutes: a good story needs a few messages.
- Turn the lights down and read the story out loud as it arrives.

Yes. Horror Night is free on Hordecade, with no account and nothing to download.
Does Horror Night work on Kick?
Yes. Twitch, Kick or both: just type your channel name. When you multistream, both chats play in the same game.
Do viewers need to sign up?
No. Viewers just type in your normal chat. In this game: random chatters picked.
