How to play

  1. Press Start with the built-in pictures, or upload your own / paste an image link in the lobby.
  2. WRITE: chat writes captions. Each chatter's last one counts. Spam, links, emote-only lines and swearing are filtered, and identical captions are merged ('×37' = 37 people wrote it).
  3. HEATS: 4 random captions at a time; chat votes 1-4 and the winner goes to the final. This is how even 10,000 captions get narrowed down fairly.
  4. WILDCARDS: you flip through random pages of 8 and star your favourites (keys 1-8, N = next page, Enter = continue).
  5. FINAL: up to 6 captions. Chat votes, you pick your own favourite, and the winner can be downloaded as a meme.

What chat types

!caps your captionType it during writing time, starting with !caps. Your last one counts.
1-4 / 1-6Vote in heats and the final. You can't vote for your own.

Scoring

  • Winning a heat: 50 points.
  • Streamer's pick in the final: 300 points.
  • Chat's favourite: 200 points + 5 per vote (up to +300).

Tips

  • Only messages starting with !caps count, so normal chat never gets mixed in. Remind chat a few times during writing.
